Pat Ebert has over 30 years experience in the financial services industry. He is a graduate of the University of Puget Sound, and completed Masters-level courses at Seattle University (Finance), University of Denver School of Law (Taxation) and Golden Gate School of Law (Taxation). He is a 2017 Level III CFA candidate. He has taught courses at Seattle University and the local CFA Society. Mr Ebert has had articles published by Charles Schwab & Co. He was a contributor to KONG and KING TV Financial News. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the CFA Institute. He practiced as a Certified Financial Planner™ for 20 years.
Pat was VP of 401k Services for INVESCO Funds Group in Denver and Atlanta, serving such clients as Coca Cola, Macy’s, and Food Lion. He worked with Deloitte Touche in their Executive Financial Counseling Services, before becoming a shareholder with a boutique funds management firm in Bellevue, gaining a wealth of experience in tax planning, executive stock options planning, and business profitability.
He developed Mavada Wealth Management in 2004, to bring his considerable investing skills to a select group of individuals—not only those who are wealthy, but those wishing to become wealthy. His forte is investing, as well as caring for all aspects of his clients needs.
Pat grew up in Tacoma, WA, where his parents ran the popular La Mavada Mexican Restaurant. He moved to Seattle in his twenties. He and his wife of many years, Barbara, also a CPA, have a home on Bainbridge Island. Among other accomplishments, Pat was an Olympic-class skier in college. He is an avid golfer.
